Choanoke Area Development Association of NC, Inc. (CADA) will accept applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program for Bertie and Hertford Counties beginning July 8, 2024. The waiting list will be closed automatically when 400 applications are completed. Only completed applications will be accepted. Once an online application is completed, applicants will receive a confirmation code.
The website for the application must be accessed by internet connections with home computers, smart phones, and public access sites such as public libraries or anyplace that has internet access. All applications must be completed online. To apply, go to the following website https://choanoke.housingmanager.com and click on New Application, follow the prompts, and answer all questions.

A Public Hearing has been scheduled for May 7, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the CADA Administration Office, 120 Sessoms Drive, Rich Square, North Carolina to review the current Housing Choice Voucher Program PHA Plan for Bertie and Hertford Counties. This document is available for public review on April 22, 2024 at the following locations:
