Choanoke Area Development Association of NC, Inc. (CADA) has closed the waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) in Bertie and Hertford Counties at the close of business on Thursday, July 11, 2024. The waiting list will remain closed until the number of applicants on the waiting list is less than the number CADA can serve in a twelve-month period. At that time, CADA will advertise the re-opening of the waiting list. CADA will continue to implement the priorities identified in the approved CADA Administrative Plan.
